 One of our goals at Accelerate Women Leaders in Travel is to create community for our retreat participants. We have heard time and time again how much impact our yearly retreat has on this goal. Participants walk away from our 24 hours together seeking more! Based on feedback from our yearly surveys we have added group coaching sessions, and this year, we added two meet-ups to connect upcoming participants before the retreat.
This past October we held our first meet-up hosted by board member Heather Durant. Heather created a casual and fun environment with whole group discussions and break-out rooms. We started with sharing what developments have happened in our lives and work since the previous Accelerate retreat and the vacations we have been on or are planning to take. Following the larger group discussion, we headed into breakout rooms to discuss resources that we would recommend to others. These included many great books and podcasts. With the holidays approaching, perhaps you are thinking about your wish list. Or maybe you are starting to develop your learning goals for 2024.
