Tonya Hammond

Amy Gallagher is a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of association, marketing and event management experience. As Program & Events Manager with the New England Inns & Resorts Association (NEIRA), Amy is responsible for producing all of NEIRA's educational and networking events ranging from 25-person educational programs to their 300+ person annual conference; tradeshows; webinars, board meetings, luncheons; etc. She earned a BA in Communications from Western Connecticut State University and a M.Ed. from the University of New Hampshire. Amy is currently pursuing her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential.

Tonya began her hospitality career as a Front Desk Clerk at Sun & Ski Inn and Suites in Stowe, Vermont, learning the business from the ground up. She now serves as Group Sales & Events Manager for Sun & Ski Inn and Suites, Stowe Bowl, and Stowe Golf Park, overseeing group bookings, events, and partnerships across all three properties.
Originally from Australia, Tonya moved to the United States in 1987 after graduating from Hartill-Underwood Business School in Perth. Her professional background spans multiple industries, including a role with Hewlett-Packard, in NJ on the National Sales Team. She later transitioned into athletics and youth development in Florida, serving as Swim Lesson Head Coach and Team Administrator for the Pine Crest Swim Team.
A long-time community volunteer, Tonya has held several leadership roles and currently serves on the board of Women of Winter (WOW) in Stowe. She remains passionate about teaching children to swim and enjoying Vermont’s outdoors.
